San Juan County Park

We are excited to partner with San Juan County Park on San Juan Island to provide weekly educational presentations, aka “Fireside Chats.”

San Juan County Park is one of the only sites on the island that allows overnight camping from April through October. Located just north of Lime Kiln Point, it is another popular place to view orcas and other whales as they make their way through Haro Strait.

Along with overnight camping, there is a day use area with a beautiful grassy knoll and two beaches that make the park a perfect place to spend a day with family and friends.

Check our schedule or check with the Park Ranger on site to know when our volunteers will be at the campground.
